Muslims and Christians have the same God?
Answer: No, not really. Christians worship the God who has made himself known to us through his Word, the Bible. God of the Bible is worshipped by both Christians and Jews (though Jews do not accept that Jesus was indeed God as a man). While it is true that both Jews (including Jesus) and Muslims are descendents of Abraham (see Genesis 15 & 21), Muslims have drifted far in their understanding from the God of Abraham. The following table summarizes some of the distinctions.
